Our Mission: To gather, recognize and celebrate the continuing annual commitment of each of our member veterinarians to provide some level of absolutely free spay neuter services to the needy animals of their choice, along with any other free services they choose to provide.

Father John’s Animal House to add spay/neuter on site (advertisernewssouth.com)This NJ non-profit animal shelter S/N’s their animals before adoption. They’re planning an on site facility so animals won’t have to be transported for surgery,which will speed up #s treated & spare those the stress of travel. They seek to raise $ for the needed equipment. Dr. Pamela Schott, a shelter volunteer for a couple of yrs, w/yrs of HQHV S/N experience, will lead the medical team, w/future plans to bring in & train others as well. COLLABORATION ABOUNDS!
Dateline June 1st : Detroit Animal Care, did, w/BISSELL Pet Foundation host & fund Detroit’s 1st-ever FREE S/N clinic, June 1st-4th, w/ goal of “fixing” 120 dogs. Dogs S/N @ event will also get age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies & a microchip.Goal:Help shelter overcrowding by preventing unwanted litters..”Free Spay/Neuter Clinic for Detroit Dogs | City of Detroit (detroitmi.gov)

Dateline June 16th :One coalition’s efforts to reduce the # of stray cats & dogs in East Idaho has advanced, thanks to its new mobile S/N trailer’s 1st Free S/N clinic.The trailer, now @ Faith Baptist Church, will travel & provide FREE S/N, one of the central goals of the “All About the Animals Coalition”, a group of animal welfare organizations & individuals who have combined forces to end the euthanasia of healthy & treatable dogs & cats in East Idaho shelters. They chose to hold these clinics @ the Fort Hall Reservation ...due to the overwhelming #of animals abandoned in the area.The Idaho Humane Society donated the trailer for temp-orary use.A grant from the ASPCA will help fund veterinarian & medical costs.
