Our Lucky Stars
We currently have 9 member veterinarians in private practice and 1 spay neuter clinic participating, representing 9 hospitals in 9 NJ towns.
Together these professionals have generously pledged 222 absolutely free spay neuter surgeries and other services for needy animals in 2006:

Lucky Stars Shine in “the Animal companion”
The February 4th edition of this major newspaper featured an article honoring our Lucky Star Veterinarians. Once distributed free in some locations, this important bi weekly publication is now available by subscription only. Invitation to U.S. Senator Ensign Senator John Ensign of Nevada, the only veterinarian in the US Senate, was recently honored by the Humane Society of the US as their Humane Legislator of the Year. He authored the Animal Fighting Prohibition Enforcement Act and the Virgie S. Arden Horse Slaughter Prevention Act. Though he currently is not practicing, we have invited him to join Lucky Star as a honorary member. We will let you know his response!
