“PAWS” ENDS, PLEDGES RESUME!
We can’t thank our Lucky Stars enough for their
2022 pledges!Covid’s not done w/us, but it does not stop those who see a need & seek to help meet it! Thank you all!

“COMPASSION WITHOUT BORDERS”
CA’s CWOB opened their Mexico clinic 7 yrs ago & did their 30,000th FREE S/N in March, for which they thanked their donors & clinic team. “Starki”, a terrier mix, was that milestone patient! Compassion Without Borders International Animal Welfare (cwob.org)

“SPAYATHON PUERTO RICO???”
The Sato Project, working for permanent change for animal welfare in PR, “gets” the need to tackle problem of overpopulation. Since their S/N outreach efforts began in 2016, they’ve fixed & vacc’d >7,500 owned dogs & cats. Before Hurri-cane Maria (Sept 2017) they were seeing a drop in # of abandoned litters. But post Maria,by Spring 2018 they were faced w/an overwhelming #, requiring a program of great scale. Enter: The Spayathon for Puerto Rico,an internat’l effort launched in June 2018 w/much fanfare. From then til 2020, S/N efforts grew, but “Spayathon” ended due to the pandemic. The need did not! The Sato Project’s own much smaller community voucher program continues. During 2021, thanks to support from Tito’s Handmade Vodka & @Keepingfinn, it went from low-cost to FREE.
