This NY Knicks forward known too for his name change to “Metta World Peace” is a convincing & eloquent spokesman for responsible pet ownership, S/N, adopt, don’t buy & reporting animal abuse. Word is he will soon change his name again. How bout: “Right On!” or “Way to Go!” Heard here 1st!

CBS RADIO VET ON SPAY/NEUTER
Dr. Elizabette Cohen’s Sat & Sun 7:25 AM & PM “Happy & Health Pets” on 880AM Aug 18 explained breast cancer risk is reduced substantially if you S/N before 1st heat. Even after 1st heat, the earlier you S/N the less the breast cancer risk. (50% of such tumors in dogs are cancer, 90% in cats.) Castration 100% reduces chances of testicular cancer, ovariohysterectomy 100% reduces chance of ovarian, uterine & cervical cancer since those tissues are removed.
